kids having babies

What is it with you girls thinking that by having a baby, the man in ur life is guaranteed to stay with you? I don’t understand who told you this would work. There are some exceptions where the father feels obligated to stay but those chances are very small.( im talking bout 1 out of 10). If the relationship doesn’t work b4 a baby, what makes u think its getting better? it will only get more complicated, as u take on more responsibilities and gain disappointment if the father isn’t there to support you in any way whether financially, emotionally or just as a parent. The stupidest mistake a girl can make is having a guys baby just so that he can stick around, especially if ur young. These guys have their whole lives to live & a baby isn’t going to stop them. So please ladies jump off of that cloud. Life isn’t that easy. A baby is a serious deal that comes with a lot of sacrifice, dedication and responsibilities and if ur not willing to put 110%. Either stop having sex or use protection. Babies aren’t toys for us to use as an experiment. After you have this kid you will kick urself in the ass when u see it isn’t working between the two of you, and now ur stuck with finding a baby sitter, needing money for food & diapers & having to prioritize this baby at all times. & not only that, but ur giving up ur own childhood & teen years. instead of planning a prom, u'll be planning ur babys 1st bday. you wont be able to go out with ur friends as much as u would want to. parenting is a fulltime job. It really sucks to see a kid have another kid. Think before you act.
Back in the days a lot of our parents were together just to keep the family together, so that the kids don’t suffer, or to simply keep the image of a happy home. & deep inside there miserable and were out doing their dirt on the side, which I find disgusting. i know being a teen comes with alot of sophistication and u thinking you know it all. "my parents are so old fashioned" yes they may be a little old but im sure they know what they are talking about. they have the experience. & they just dont want you suffering or possibly make the same mistake they made.

embracing the hood?

I can't believe how people in the "hood" are actually trying to embrace it, instead trying to get out of it. I guess its all they've known & try to make the best of it. But are they aware that there's a better life out there for them? Or are they just too lazy to do it the long way?

A lot of people that live in particular neighborhoods of New york (eg: Washington heights, Harlem, south bx, L.E.S,etc) have lived in the same apartment for more than 20 years. Everything around them just keeps getting worse. Rent is going up... New generation of kids are getting worse by the minute and there's really no progress here.

That's why I'm glad my dad made it clear to me that getting a good education was not only an option but an obligation. (even if i hate school) It takes a lot of effort and there are many things I've had to sacrifice but I'm glad he pushed me.

On another note... Gentrification is taking over this bitch lol...Lower class people are being pushed out because the Jews are moving in and are paying more to live here.

Don't get me wrong... I love NYC.. There's no place like home but its not really a good place to raise a family and progress. great to have fun & temporary stay...

People... mostly girls dream of falling in love for as long as they can remember.. its the best feeling in the world yet it has the power to destroy you..(emotionally). When you give your heart to ur significant other , its like ur giving them permission to do what they please with ur heart..& ur trusting them to take good care of it.


Some people are inlove with falling inlove.. they think its right every single time & they end up "falling inlove" 34 times before they even turn 25.. im no expert. I've been hurt in the past. I've confused puppy luv for love.. but i can tell you one thing.. when its real.. you'll know.. if ur lucky enough to find it.
